2010 Volkswagen Passat General Review
This 2010 Volkswagen Passat is a great vehicle to own. It has something called a trip computer which tells you outside temperature, the miles that you have traveled, and also tells you how far you can travel with the amount of gas that you have. There is a RNS 510 navigation system that gives you visual and audio directions that come from the middle console of this vehicle. The Passat brake system is amazing because it has Hydraulic brake assist which helps prevent the risks of skidding in bad weather and such when applying the breaks too hard. Also, it has a crash optimized front end. What that does is funnels the pressure of the impact into the car, and diverts it from you, if you get into an accident.

This passat has so many great features. The steering column is telescopic and you can adjust its height. This means it will keep the air bags where they are supposed to be, and lowers impact in any kind of fender bender. Well this VW has 6 airbags to further your safety even more. They only deploy when a sensor is set off, which happens almost instantaneously. The driver seat has a seat that adjusts in many different ways, 12 to be exact, and some of those are up, down, back, and forth. Of course, the back seats fold down as well and give you 61.82 cubic feet of room to use at your discretion. So whether you are doing some traveling, shopping or whatever else you need, there is an immense amount of room to use. The emergency brake system has a nice push button feature. You simply have to push a button, as opposed to pulling on a hard brake arm.

The hatch of this vehicle is very simple to open. You simply hold the hatch button down on the key until it is as open as you like it to be, then release. On the wheels there are disc brakes that are vented to prevent heat to the rotors so less wear to them, with (ARS) anti slip regulations if you are going really fast it helps the wheels from slipping. No one wants to get in an accident, but sometimes it is inevitable, so this vehicle has door beams which are anti intrusion, and this means the door has steel reinforcements.. they are there to make a barrier to keep the passengers from being hurt upon impact. For those of you that enjoy surfing, skiing, or just like to pack a lot on vacation this car has rails on the roof for holding your belongings. And for those cold days where you get a lot of frost on your side mirrors, no worries because the mirrors are heated so less time wasted waiting on them to defog or defrost. The sunroof feature is nice too, again just the push of a button and it opens so you have some fresh air. And it has got tint as well so your not getting blasted with the sun.
