This 1955 Mercury Monterey is being auctioned off. They say that the Monterey was the highest priced Mercury around. I can see why though it is a very beautiful car, that has been well taken care of. This baby is a beauty. Who would not want to be seen driving in this or showing it off at a car show. You can be the talk of the town!
The interior of this car is red and white in color. The material for the inside is either leather or it is vinyl. Either way this is a good material to have just in case something should spill on your seat it can easily be wiped off. The seating is bench seats. They are in good shape as well, showing no signs or wear or damage. Same goes for the carpeting too, it does not even look worn out and the red color in it is still very vibrant. The trim around the inside appears to me some kind of metal material and is as shiny as ever. It does not have any pings, dents or scratches to it. The all around interior is phenomenal for a 1955 car!
The outside of this car is red, white and has a wood grain looking panel on each door and on the trunk. There does not appear to have any rusting, Patina or dents to it. The tires for this vehicle look to be wide white walls. There is plenty of good climate control, there are 6 big windows that open so you can let in all that nice fresh air. This way you do not have to use air conditioning and waste a bunch of gas.
