2004 Subaru Legacy Outback AWD General Review

This Subaru Legacy Outback AWD has a 6 cylinder 3 liter gasoline fueled engine and an automatic transmission. The Outback is small in comparison to other station wagons. The 2004 Outback AWD has 4 wheel drive and 4 disc anti-lock brakes. It also has power locks,windows,seats,mirror and of course power steering.

The interior of the Subaru Outback is dark and light gray. Driver and passenger seats are gray leather bucket seats that can be heated by the touch of a button. Heated seats are great for chilly days to take the egde off of the cold. A small armrest with a storage area separates the seats and has two cup holder attached to it. The back sit holds three people but does not offer much leg room. There is a McIntosh AM/FM/CD player installed in the dashboard directly below the air and heat control panel. This station wagon also has OnStar installed which is helpful for many of the problems that can arise while on the road. The cargo area is also very small but a few extra feet can be added by folding down the back seat. Vanity mirrors and reading lights can be found on the visors. The rear view mirror has auto dimming and a compass.

The paint job on the Outback AWD is a metallic dark cherry that looks almost black from certain angles. Both the rear and front windshield have intermittent wipers and defrost. A hatch back located on the rear of this station wagon can be opened by a release latch located next to the driver seat and so can the hood. A luggage rack and two power sunroofs are located on the roof of the Subaru station wagon. It has halogen day runnung headlights. All of the tires are alloy.
