1981 Pontiac Bonneville General Review
This is a Classic 1981 Pontiac Bonneville Safari Station Wagon with 170,000 miles. It has had two owners. The engine runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing, ticking or knocking. It runs without overheating there is no check engine light. It has a good battery and charging system. It runs very smooth. It has had a recent oil change. The transmission performs flawlessly. It engages gears quickly and shifts through all four forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. The fluid is clean with no burn odors or noticeable leaks. This classic car drives nicely. The suspension and steering are tight and the alignment is good. The brakes work well with good linings, no noise and no vibration. The tires are two matched pairs of good quality radials with about 40% tread remaining. It has a solid exhaust pipes but there is a leak at the driver's side flange. There is no rear end noise. It's not blazing fast, but it accelerates well and cruises nicely at highway speeds.

The interior of this 1981 Pontiac Bonneville Station Wagon is in fair shape. There are some small carpet stains, some headliner sag and a few tears. The front armrests have some deformation. The dashboard has no cracks and the seats and cargo floor are in good shape. All inspection items work such as lights, horn, wipers, etc. The power antenna and power seat do not work. All the other power stuff works properly, i.e - power windows, locks, hot heat and cold air conditioning, tilt wheel, cruise control, AM FM and power rear window all work.

This 1981 Pontiac Safari Station Wagon body is in very good shape. There is no rust. There are a few minor dings. The paint is newer in the original two-tone colors with some minor imperfections. It's daily driver quality, not show car quality, but it will still, turns heads. The chrome bumpers are in good shape. The glass is all good. Rally wheels are in good shape with a no curb rash. All trim rings are present.
