This is a CLASSIC 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 210 Townsman 6-passenger Station Wagon. Just about everything on this car has been upgraded or replaced with new. It was rebuilt to be driven daily and it is perfect for just that. This ’56 has five aircraft style safety belts installed. Four shoulder belts and one lap belt. This car is over 50 years old, so there is no warranty. The car was originally a 6-cylinder 2-speed powerglide car, however, the engine is a brand new GM 350 crate engine GM part number 12499529. It is still under warranty with GM, and is registered in this car, to this V.I.N. number. Transmission is a new, four-speed, automatic overdrive, with Corvette servo, shift kit, 1-wire lock up torque converter, and Beast sunshell. There is just too much to say about all the items that have been replaced with new or upgrade with new parts and etc. This is a real beautiful automobile.

The interior has been removed and the interior floors coated with POR 15 rust preventative. The carpet has been replaced with brand new, one piece, plush black carpeting. It has thick jute backing and is very nice. The cargo area carpet is the matching set and was replaced at the same time. The seats were recovered in very nice black and white vinyl and look beautiful. The headliner is the original and is only in fair condition. The door panels were recovered by previous owner. The dash trim is also new. All the seats slide and fold as they should. All lights, horn, signals, lighter, etc, work as they should.
What do you say about a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Townsman Station Wagon as beautiful as this? The current owner has done no body work to this car. The paint on this car was done by the previous owner. The headlights have been capped, rockers replaced, and floors patched by the previous owner and the rear door handles have also been shaved, for a nice clean look. It has a brand new windshield and almost all of the window seals have been replaced, as has the weather stripping on doors, tailgate, and hatch.
