The 2006 Suzuki Boulevard S40 is classified as a cruiser by Suzuki. The cruiser class is all about enjoying the ride and being laid back. They have been manufactured since 1986. Generally speaking, this is a nice solid bike for a decent price.
This motorcycle has a single cylinder air cooled SOHC engine, 40 cubic inches in size. The cylinder has zinc plated mounting bolts which are corrosion resistant. It has an electric starter with automatic decompression. The transmission is a 5 speed. Over all dimensions are 85.8 x 28.3 x 43.5 l x w x h. They weigh about 350 pounds. The 2006 Suzuki S40 has a one piece saddle, and a seat height of 27.6 inches, which is relatively low. The fuel tank is tear drop shaped, which adds a nice look, and has a flush mounted speedometer. It has custom rear view mirrors, which between the saddle, the fuel tank, and the rest, really adds to the overall nice look. The spoke wheels are polished, and they typically come with saddle bags.
