2002 Volkswagen Jetta General Review

Under the hood of the 2002 Volkswagen Jetta is a 1.9L SOHC EFI turbo diesel engine and a 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It also has an 80 amp/hr battery and a 70 amp alternator with Independent front and rear suspension. The 2002 Jetta gets 34 miles city and 45 miles highway for each gallon of fuel. I believe that to be a very high mileage for most cars today.

The interior of the Jetta is mostly gray with a few black accents. The seats are covered in a gray velour material and the carpets are gray as well. The Driver and passenger have separate bucket seats that fully recline and have adjustable head rest for added comfort. There is a child safety window option which allows only the driver the ability to open or close the back windows. Door automatically lock once you reach the speed of 12 MPH. Climate control panels are located in the dashboard along with an AM/FM/CD player.
