2001 Winnebago Journey 34BD General Review
This 2001 Winnebago Journey 34BD is 35ft in length which makes it a decent size RV. It has a 75 gallon Diesel tank. It can sleep up to 6 people and the fresh water tank holds over 70 gallons of water. The engine is a 6 cylinder with a freightliner chassis and a 6 speed Allison automatic transmission.

The cabin of this Winnebago is quite beautiful and very tranquil. It is done mostly in beige colors giving it a crisp, clean and relaxing feel. The drivers bay has two power adjustable captains seats and power windows. To make driving a little nicer it has power steering,cruise control and tilt. The rear mounted camera and monitor make it simple to back up. An AM/FM/CD player is installed in the dashboard. A beige colored leather sofa in the living room folds out into a sleeper bed and the booth style kitchen table folds down to make yet another bed. There is plenty of storage space on the Winnebago 34BD, cabinets hang on almost every wall. The kitchen also has a lot of cabinets and drawers for storage. A stove/oven,microwave and refrigerator are built in to the kitchen. Tile covers the kitchen and bathroom floors. A large stand up shower and sink with a vanity mirror make up most of the bathroom. The toilet is in a separate room as is a washer/dryer combo. The bathroom leads in the bedroom. A queen size bed is in the middle of the room. A large wardrobe closet takes up most of one wall and two small nightstands are on either side of the bed. A TV hangs from a solid wood case in the ceiling.

The 2001 Winnebago 34 BD has lots of underneath storage compartments. They will hold all of your luggage,camping or sports equipment and than some more. It has two slideouts located in the livingroom and bedroom. A large canopy can be pulled down over the door to make a nice shaded area perfect for relaxing. Just in case you get dirty while out there is a small outdoor shower so you won't drag dirty into your beautiful clean RV.
