This 1996 Airstream Land Yacht is a used vehicle. If you have to get gas for this land yacht it takes diesel fuel. The length for this RV is 35 foot long. The body of the mobile home is fiber glass, so if you happen to get into an accident the fiberglass will crack and break. It is suggested that if you purchase a motor home ask for them to give you a fiberglass roof. It prevents molding and mildew. The transmission is an Allison 6 speed automatic.
This motor home has cedar lined everything. If you should what something to eat there is a kitchen. There is also a bathroom. so your journey will be a lot shorter. Less stops saves money and time. All of the gauges to the front work properly, so you will not have the problems of running out of gas. In the main living area all of the furniture looks like it is new. There is plenty of seating and a television. If you should get tired there is a bed room as well.
This RV has a 228 inch wheel base. It also has a very rare freightliner chassis. The fuel tank can hold up to 90 gallons of gas. There is a 90 gallon water tank, 70 gallon gray water tank, 45 gallon gray water tank and a 31 gallon propane tank. The breaks on this vehicle are Jake break air breaks. There are also awnings that go all the way around the motor home. They have aluminum castings for better support. To save on electricity there are solar power panels on the roof. The tires are pretty new. They are Michelin with solid aluminum Alcoa wheels.
