1993 Prevost H3 40 General Review
This is a 1993 Prevost H3-40. It has a Detroit DDEC series 60 engine. The transmission is an Allison HT794, a very popular brand for busses. A great feature for the driver is that the bus has cruise control. There is a great deal of seating. There is a spot for up to 48 passengers and of course 1 for the driver. For those of you that travel with a laptop or other electronic equipment there are 3 dc outlets.

If your looking to take a trip or just go on a nice tour this is the kind of vehicle that you are looking to ride in. Some of the features for this bus include are 3 monitors, vhs, and dvd. There is so much to do on your trip to make the time go by fast, including a p/a system with 3 outlets and mic, am/fm stereo with cd player too. For those of you that have aches and pains on long rides, all around armrests are available for your comfort. Almost all of us like to bring things on the bus for entertainment so there is an enclosed storage rack overhead. There is fabric sidewalls and ceiling to keep the temperature just right. Not only that, but it has climate control heating and cooling system. You do not have to worry about messing a project you are doing such as knitting, writing or just reading at night because there are lamps to help. Or if you like to sleep and just do not want a lot of lighting there are shades on the windows, and the driver has one too. Playing cards is always fun right? There are card tables to play on.. And should you have to use the rest room do not worry about stopping or waiting the bus has a restroom inside of it.

As for the outside of the bus this model has destination sign hardware, so you know where you are going. In some of the images shown it appears that there is under carriage departments for the bigger luggage you will bring. The break system is Jake break, again very popular with busses. Another feature to this great bus is that it has pneumatic tag lift. You have basic black and white coloring to the outside but I am sure if you want you can change it to whatever you desire.
