'87 Mercedes Benz 560SL Car Details
Great little 560 ready to drive anywhere in the US. Also the lowest-priced in the nation currently. Far from perfect, but lovingly cared for for the past six years. Newer tires, battery, belts, alternator, heat shield, steering stabilizer, OEM shocks, brakes, floormats. Newer fuel tank both fuel pumps, distributor, wires, and plugs. Tons of other little things. Hard top works great; soft top is old and ugly and I\'ve never used it. Owned by two families ever (mine is the second). Drove it to California from Oregon and back last year. Catalytic converter stolen; exhaust shop just put in new exhaust tubing where the cat used to be. Can replace with a used cat for $200 if desired to return car to bone-stock. Clean title, no rust, no accidents. Lovingly cared for and driven often the past six years. Interior isn\'t going to win any awards; many cracks in the wood. Put a nice dash cover over it that actually looks good. AC doesn\'t work; climate control is very finicky. Still very comfy to cruise in over long distances; have taken it on a few 1000+ mi road trips. No rust, no accidents. Clear coat is faded and paint is imperfect, but looks like a million bucks from 20ft away. Gets compliments and looks everywhere. Rare color for Mercedes--and one of the best-looking on a 560SL.
