This 1980 TMC MCI-9 Motorcoach Bus is a v8 7 liter Detroit diesel engine. The particular bus shown in this image has an Allison HT740 automatic transmission. This motor coach in the image seems to be under construction but just from the looks of it there is plenty of room and comfort.
Again this bus in the images shown has a lot of insulation to keep the heat and cool air in better. Some of the ways are there are rigid foam insulation in the interior walls as well as plywood over top of that. Not all of these busses may have that. For the roofing there is tube framing in the hatches for air conditioning. These buses normally are equipped with a restroom and luggage area, and also seating for a large group. Of course when you purchase this type of bus there will be interior walls, flooring, seats, and much more.
Now for the outer part of the bus, there are 7 slider windows, making it much easier to open. There is also R&M fiberglass side skins put in right above the sign board and window areas.. And that again is for this particular bus shown in the images.
