This 1980 GMC bus has a 6 cylinder turbo engine that runs on diesel fuel and an automatic transmission. The front suspension kneels to lower the bus making it easy for older people to step up into the bus. Comes fully equipped with a AC/heater in the rear to heat or cool the entire bus.
The seats in this GMC bus face forward and run along the wall they are covered in a blue plastic. There are metal holding bars running the length of the buses ceiling and several poles from floor to ceiling for passengers to hold while they are standing. The 1980 GMC bus has to automatic doors one in the front and the other placed in the rear. The door at the rear end of the bus opens wide and has a wheelchair lift making it handicap accessible. A row of seats fold up to make room for any size wheelchair and have safety restraints to keep the chair from moving. The bus has minimum storage with a small luggage rack above the seats.
The 1980 GMC coach is painted white with a blue and green stripe swirling across the middle. The large windows are tinted and two on each side push out for emergency exits. There is a small LCD sign on the side and front of the bus where you can display the destination of your trip. The wheelchair lift is located under the bus and has a small controller that can be used when it is needed.
