This is a very special 1946 Indian Chief Custom Restomod Girder. It has all the character of the girder front end and Indian V-twin, plus, the modern amenities of disc brakes and 60 spoke wheels. This 1946 Indian has a left foot clutch and right hand shift with a right foot rear brake and a right hand front brake. This was a project bike, with the owner dedicating much time to its' restoration. The disk brakes and calipers are custom chopper parts that had additional custom parts fabricated to work with the Indian frame and forks. This 1946 Indian Chief has a brand new Morris Magneto and a battery eliminator capacitor giving it a very naked clean look.
The saddle bags on this 1946 Indian Chief were custom fit to the fender, but are removable and locking. The saddle bags are vinyl rather than leather so they will not fade in the sun, plus they are very durable. This 1946 Indian has an Ultima Solo seat and the rear fender is a Harley. There are very few "excuses" for this bike.
