2006 SeaDoo Challenger General Review
The 2006 Seadoo Challenger has a 3 cylinder Rotax engine. There are several different Rotax engine options, the standard being a 185 HP engine, the other three options are 215 HP. In any case, the fuel capacity is 21 to 28 gallons (though some claim to be as high as 40 gallons) and oil capacity is around 3.5L. Dry weight of an 06 Challenger is around 1 ton. This is considered a recreation boat, as opposed to performance. At cruising speed, this boat consumes about 9 gallons per hour, so you will get about 2-3 hours of cruise time before you need to refuel. There are two types of this boat, the 2006 Seadoo Challenger 180 and the 2006 Seadoo Challenger 180 CS. The key features of the 180 CS are the snap in carpeting, wrap around windshield, and stereo remote.

As for the lounge and cabin area of a standard 2006 Challenger, there are several nice features worthy of mention. For the instrument panel, there is a backlit speedometer, tachometer, fuel and oil gauges, and warning light. Storage is impressive, with 23 cubic feet in total. There is rear storage (dual access), an under seat built in cooler, ski storage under the floor, and of course, a glove compartment. Seating for passengers handles up to 8 people, with padded swivel bucket seats. Some other random interior features include am/fm/cd stereo, and courtesy lights in the cockpit

Overall dimensions of a 2006 Seadoo Challenger for sale are a length of 17 feet, 7 inches, a beam length of 8 feet 2 inches, a draft of 12 inches, and a height of 6 feet 1 inch to 8 feet 5 inches, depending on whether there is a tower or not. The hull is made of composite FRP (fiber reinforced polymer), which is exceptionally durable and excellent material for construction. Other exterior features include a swimming platform with a 2 step ladder, windscreens for passenger and driver (with a Walk-Thru), rear Step-Thru with engine access lid, grab handles (non slip), a full size wrap around wind shield, and stainless steel bow and stern eyes for tie down.
