2003 Checkmate ZT 280 General Review

The 2003 Checkmate is a great cuddy cabin speed boat. It has a single inboard/outboard gasoline engine. The engine is made by Mercury and can hold up to 75 gallons. The ZT 280 is perfect for fresh or saltwater trips.

Checkmate ZT 280 Boat For Sale Interior Review

This boat is rather small with just enough room for four seated passengers. All of the seats are covered in white leather with black and red racing stripes. The two front seats are captain style swivel chairs. Two cup holders are located on both sides of the passenger seats. Below deck is a small cabin with just enough space for all four passengers to sleep. There is also a tiny food cooler built into the floor.

The hull is is 28ft long and made of white fiberglass. It has a large red racing stripe down the middle of the boat. A small windshield is located on the front.
