2006 SeaDoo RXT General Review
The 2006 Seadoo RXT has a 215 hp fuel injected Rotax SOHC engine with digital inductive ignition that holds 15.9 gallons of fuel, which is pretty standard for most waverunners. It weighs 869 pounds when completely dry. It has a Bombardier Formula propulsion with an aluminum jet pump. The transmission is direct drive and can go in reverse. This guy is capable of hitting 70 mph which is pretty fast! It even offers a pretty smooth ride in less than smooth waters.
A warning, though.. Several owners have complained of parts going defective very early in the life of their 06 Seadoo RXT. Even worse is that they were frequently disappointed in the warranty coverage. It seems that there is a good chance that parts will go bad and it will be a struggle to get them replaced, if at all. However, there are just as many people out there who feel that this model is an excellent model in terms of performance, so don't let that scare you! You may have to sink a decent chunk of money into repairs, but the overall consensus is that it is worth it.

Similar to many of its brothers (similar models) and cousins (similar years), the 2006 Seadoo RXT Waverunner has many of the same gauges to give a proper read out of overall performance and health of the jetski. These include tachometer, speedometer, voltage, fuel leve, oil, temperature, lake temperature, and hour meter.
The 06 Seadoo RXT seats 1 to 3 riders, and stores a whopping 52.6 gallons. That, I am fairly sure, is well above the industry average. Of course, the storage is watertight, and there is a glove compartment as well. Last but not least, the footwells are grooved and carpeted for comfort and traction.
