2006 SeaDoo RXP General Review
The 2006 Seadoo RXP has a Rotax 4-TEC SOHC 3 cylinder, 4 stroke multi-port fuel injected inline engine with an electric starter, digital inductive ignition, and a fuel capacity of 15.9 gallons that uses premium unleaded fuel. The transmission is a direct drive 3 gear with forward, neutral, and reverse. Other performance and operations features include a closed loop cooling system, automatic siphon bilge system, OPAS Steering assist System, and an aluminum Bombardier water jet propulsion pump. Physical dimensions are 10.08 x 4 x 3.57 ft (l x w x h), and it ways 790 pounds dry. It also has a 12 Volt battery

The 2006 Sea Doo RXP is a one or two passenger waverunner with seat straps. It has a storage capacity of 1.7 cubic feet, between the watertight front and dash storage compartments and glove box. For readouts on performance, it has many gauges, including Speedometer, Tachometer, Oil pressure, Fuel gauge, voltage, overheat, copass, hour meter, water body temperature, and check engine light. The rear seat is removable for better positioning on a solo ride. The engine hatch is also removable for easy access. It has a stainless steel impeller with urethane that is easily replaceable. The footwells are carpeted for comfort and safety (better surface traction). A nice anti theft feature it includes is DESS, which is a digitally encoded security system.

The body type of the 06 Seadoo RXP is a semi-V type,which helps with a smooth ride and maneuverability. It is made of a composite fiberglass which is light and strong. It has sponsons and bumpers, and bow and stern eyes as well as docking loops for easy tie down. It also comes with grab handles that are non slip for safety. The fuel tank has an elevated hatch for refueling which helps to prevent water leakage. It also has rear view mirrors and reboarding step and deck pad.
